Position Description Overview

First Data is seeking a Enterprise Architect to join IPG REST API team. First Data’s API Development and Technology functions are responsible for innovation and advancement across all of our API segments. 

In this role you will be working directly with agile team devoted to developing IPG REST APIs in payments industry. The position requires significant interaction with developers, architects, product owners, Quality engineers, implementation and stakeholders. Full system life-cycle required including architecture, design, development, test, and implementation of highly robust and reliable API/Micro-Services to meet complex business functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analysis of complex processes and technological heterogenic applications.
  • Design and architecture, validation of architecture of SW solutions in the real-time, payment area.
  • Design, development of SW solutions and the generation of design documents. Design and architect POC using latest technologies for new product requirements.
  • Architect end to end solutions for Payment APIs. 
  • Develop and present design and architecture artificats with internal and external stake holders. 
  • Design and develop high volume transaction APIs that can be consumed by omni channel platforms.

Scope of Job

Works on complex systems and project issues with senior IT management. Demonstrates strong leadership with senior management. Coaches and leads other IT managers and business managers.
