• Handling customer escalations 

• Developing valuable relationships with key personnel in your site(s), including executive management 

• Improving the end user computing experience by continually analyzing the business needs you identify from your user population 

• Developing the careers and skillsets of your team; leading by example! 

• Direct staff in providing world class customer service in the end user computing space • Provide expertise and support to your staff for various end user support activities, including software upgrades, operating system migrations, facility moves, training class support, meeting and presentation support, etc. 

• Foster innovative thinking and solutioning by motivating your staff to perform at ever-higher levels 

• Develop the necessary training plans and creative educational opportunities for your staff to keep abreast of new technologies and approaches 

• Help define service levels for end user computing support functions, and then develop / maintain the necessary metrics to measure these service levels


Job Responsibilities

  • Is responsible for managing people, hiring, firing, performance reviews, compensation, and determining promotions. Is responsible for ensuring the execution of specific strategic functions and implementing high-end, business-wide, critical strategy. Provides guidance, planning and direction for business unit(s), maintains budgets and proactively allocates resources and time for the business units or functions supported. Performs additional job duties as required.


Scope of Job

Provides leadership across well-defined and homogeneous teams with moderate degrees of complexity. Is the leader for assigned resources. Coaches direct reports and subordinates within the functional units supported.
